Car dealer websites with live stock, finance and part-ex

Car dealer websites live or die on the stock page. Ours pull stock from Auto Trader Connect or your DMS, show finance from Codeweavers or iVendi, take a part-ex valuation from the reg, and hand the lead to your CRM with the vehicle attached. Bespoke builds for independents, used car supermarkets and dealer groups, not a rented template.

Most dealer sites in the UK come from a handful of platform providers on a monthly fee. They work, they all look the same, and you never own them. We build dealer websites you own outright, on WordPress or a bespoke stack, with the same stock, finance and valuation integrations the platforms offer and none of the lock-in.

Stock is the hard part and we treat it as data engineering, not a plugin. Auto Trader Connect gives us stock, images, Retail Check pricing and valuations through one API. Where you run Keyloop, Pinewood, Dragon2000 or Click Dealer as your DMS, we pull from that instead, or from both, and reconcile so a car sold at four o'clock is off the site minutes later. Feeds out to Motors.co.uk, CarGurus and eBay Motors come from the same source.

The rest of the page is built around the lead. Finance calculators from Codeweavers or iVendi with representative examples that meet FCA rules. Reserve online. Part-ex valuation that fills from the VRM and comes back with a CAP HPI or Auto Trader figure. Every enquiry lands in your CRM with the vehicle, the finance quote and the part-ex attached, so the salesperson calls back knowing the deal.

Sound familiar?

You probably need this if

  • Your platform provider charges monthly, owns the site, and the only thing you can change is the hero banner.
  • Stock on the website lags Auto Trader by hours, or a sold car is still showing on Sunday morning.
  • Finance is a link out to a lender, and enquiries come in with no idea what the customer wants to pay a month.
  • Part-ex enquiries are a free-text box and the salesperson has to phone for the reg.
  • You run three sites for three branches and they share nothing.
  • Google Vehicle Ads keeps rejecting your feed.

Stock feeds and Auto Trader Connect

Auto Trader Connect replaced the old FTP feeds with an API that pushes stock, images, pricing and valuation data to and from your website. We use it as the single source for the site, the Google and Meta feeds, and the other portals, so you edit a car once and it changes everywhere.

DMS integration

If the DMS is where cars are stocked in, it should be where the website reads from. We integrate Keyloop, Pinewood, Dragon2000 and Click Dealer by API or scheduled export, and where Auto Trader is also in play we reconcile the two so nothing appears twice or disappears.

Finance calculators and reserve online

Codeweavers and iVendi both provide calculators, eligibility checks and application flows that plug into a dealer site. We embed them on every vehicle page with FCA-compliant representative examples, and add reserve-online so a customer can hold a car with a deposit at 11pm.

Part-ex valuation from the reg

A part-ex form should ask for a reg and mileage and nothing else. We look up the vehicle, return a CAP HPI or Auto Trader valuation, and attach it to the enquiry. The customer gets an instant figure; your sales team gets a lead with the deal already half-built.

Dealer group websites

Groups need one platform and many fronts: a branch page each, with its own address, hours, staff and reviews, plus group-wide search across all stock. We build it so a new site or a new franchise is a configuration change, not a new project.

Process

How we approach it

  1. Stock audit

We look at where your stock lives now (Auto Trader, DMS, spreadsheets), how clean the data is, and which fields are missing for feeds like Google Vehicle Ads.

  2. Integration design

Agree the source of truth, the sync schedule, the finance provider, the valuation source and the CRM destination. A fixed-price quote follows.

  3. Design

Search results, vehicle detail page, finance and part-ex flows designed mobile-first, because that is where forecourt customers look.

  4. Build and sync

Build, connect the stock feed, run it against live stock for two weeks before launch and fix every mismatch.

  5. Launch and feeds

Redirects from the old site, Merchant Center and Meta catalogues connected, Search Console and call tracking live.

  6. Support

Monthly checks on feed health, plus a support plan for changes, new branches and platform updates.

Car Dealer Websites: common questions

Can you pull stock from Auto Trader onto my website?

Yes. Auto Trader Connect is Auto Trader's API for stock, images, pricing and valuations. We connect it so your website shows the same stock you advertise there, updated on a schedule, with sold cars removed automatically. You need a retailer account with Connect enabled.

Do you integrate with my DMS?

We have worked with Keyloop, Pinewood, Dragon2000 and Click Dealer, plus generic CSV and FTP exports. If your DMS can export stock, we can use it as the source or reconcile it against Auto Trader.

Can I switch from my current dealer website provider?

Yes. We export your stock, map the old URLs to new ones with 301 redirects so you keep your rankings, and rebuild the integrations. Check your contract for notice periods and who owns the domain before you start.

What does a bespoke dealer website cost compared with a platform?

A bespoke build is a larger upfront cost and a smaller monthly one, and you own it. Platform providers are the reverse. We quote a fixed price after scoping, so you can compare the two over three to five years.

Do you build dealer group websites?

Yes. One codebase, one stock source, per-branch pages with their own address, opening hours and Google Business Profile links, and either shared or separated stock. Adding a branch becomes configuration, not a new build.

Will the site work with Google Vehicle Ads?

Yes. We generate a Merchant Center vehicle feed from the same stock source as the website, with the required fields (VIN or reg, price, mileage, images, dealership location) so it validates first time.
