Digital agency for breakers yards, dismantlers and ATFs
A breakers yard website should do three jobs: list every salvaged part with fitment so it gets found, take scrap-my-car enquiries from your own postcode area, and stay in step with the yard's stock system and eBay. We build sites for Authorised Treatment Facilities that do all three, from a team that has priced up gearboxes on eBay ourselves.
A modern dismantler is a data business with a crusher at the back. Every vehicle arrives with a VRM and a VIN, gets depolluted under an Environment Agency (or SEPA, NRW or NIEA) permit, and leaves as a Certificate of Destruction issued to DVLA and a few hundred parts that each need identifying, grading, photographing and listing. With 20.4 million cars and vans over ten years old and 42.5 million vehicles in use, the supply of donor cars is not the problem. Listing parts fast enough, with fitment good enough to avoid returns, is.
We know the systems. Pinnacle Professional and Hollander run the yard, with Eladene (now owned by eBay), YardPro, PartsCloud and BreakerSoft also in the mix. eBay Motors is the primary shop window and its K-Type compatibility is what makes a used alternator appear when a buyer filters by their car. Networks such as 1st Choice Spares, PartsGateway and Breakeryard bring enquiries in, and Copart and IAA (formerly Synetiq) supply salvage. What none of those tools provide is a website of your own that ranks, sells and feeds Google Shopping. That is the gap we fill.
The integration is the hard part. A part logged in Pinnacle against a donor vehicle needs to become a product on the website with the right K-Type, a listing on eBay with a compatibility list, and a line in a Merchant Center feed, and when it sells on any channel it needs to come off the other two within minutes. We build that sync layer, map donor VRM to K-Type through a licensed lookup and generate the eBay compatibility CSV from it automatically.
Regulation shapes the marketing too. Only an ATF can issue a Certificate of Destruction, and scrap-metal rules mean cashless payment, so 'scrap my car' pages have to explain the process honestly and collect the details the yard needs (VRM, location, V5C status). Aggregators dominate that search today because most yards have no local landing content at all. High-voltage battery handling is the next thing customers and insurers will ask about, and the site should say what you are certified to do.
The usual problems
- We list hundreds of parts a week and it is never enough
Photographing, identifying and listing each part with fitment takes longer than breaking the car. Anything without fitment sits on the shelf.
- Pinnacle and eBay do not talk to the website
Stock lives in three places. A part sells on eBay on Saturday and is still on the site on Monday, and the customer who ordered it gets a refund and a bad review.
- Scrap-my-car enquiries all go to the aggregators
Local drivers search 'scrap my car near me' and find a national broker who then sells the lead back to you.
- Buyers do not trust used parts online
No guarantee stated, no returns policy, no photos of the actual part and no reviews. So they buy from the yard that has all four.
- Compliance paperwork is a paper trail
Certificates of Destruction, waste transfer notes and permit records are needed for every audit and are stored in a filing cabinet.
What we do for breakers & dismantlers
Services built around this trade
Build
automotive web design
A yard website that is also a parts store and a scrap-car lead form, with the guarantees, grading and returns policy that make people buy used.
Web DesignBuild
car parts ecommerce
Used parts need per-unit listings with condition, donor mileage and photos of the actual part, which generic stores handle badly. We build for one-of-one stock.
Car Parts eCommerceIntegrations
eBay Motors integration
eBay is the biggest channel for most yards. We generate compatibility lists from the donor K-Type and keep stock in sync when a part sells on either side.
eBay Motors IntegrationGrow

Scrap-car and used-part searches are local. A Google Business Profile that is complete and pages for the areas you collect from take leads back from the aggregators.
Local SEOSoftware

Reg Lookup IntegrationBreakers & Dismantlers: common questions
Can the website take stock from Pinnacle or Hollander?
Yes. We integrate with the yard management system's export or API, create a product per part with donor vehicle, condition and photos, and remove it from the site and eBay when it sells anywhere.
How do you get fitment on used parts?
The donor VRM or VIN is looked up through a licensed provider to get a TecDoc K-Type, then that K-Type and its interchange list are attached to every part from that car. The same data generates the eBay compatibility file.
Can we sell used parts on Google Shopping?
Yes, if the feed states condition as used and carries the required identifiers. We build the Merchant Center feed from the same product data as the website and eBay.
Do you build scrap-my-car quote forms?
Yes. The form captures VRM, postcode and V5C status, looks up the vehicle to pre-fill make, model and weight class, and routes the enquiry to your team or a pricing rule. It runs on your own site so the lead is yours.
Is a breakers website worth it when eBay works already?
eBay takes a fee on every sale and owns the customer. Your own store ranks for part-number and model searches, sells at full margin and captures scrap-car leads. Most yards run both from one stock system.
